The City Of Boston released a Request for Proposals for the development of 30-36 Mildred Avenue in Mattapan. The community has expressed a desire for 6 or fewer homes, onsite parking, and a community garden.

30 – 36 MILDRED AVENUE, MATTAPAN

The Greater Mattapan community has expressed the following criteria for proposals submitted for the 30-36 Mildred Ave RFP:

  • New homeownership housing with approximately half the lot size used for a community garden.
  • Does not exceed a total of six (6) residential ownership units.
  • All of the residential units are affordable to households earning up to 100%of the Area Median Income (AMI)
  • Residential units can be a range from one (1) to three (3) bedroom units.
  • Sufficient parking on-site to accommodate the proposed development.
  • Community garden must be open to the public and available for general community use, with guidelines for public use and garden operations t to be developed with neighbors and community members.  The Mildred Ave K-8 School located across the street must have regular access, and contribute to the development of final design and garden operations.
