Message From Superintendent Cassellius

I want to thank each of you for your incredible support this week as we work to ensure our students and families have what they need during this time away from school.

I want to ensure everyone knows that BPS has 16 food distribution sites in addition to many more that the City of Boston has throughout the city. You can call 311 to get more information about where those sites are located or visit the website boston.gov.

We are providing laptops to students who do not have consistent access to a computer at home. If your student needs a computer or internet at home, please visit bostonpublicschools.org/laptop or call 311. We will set up an appointment for BPS to deliver one to your home.

We will get through this together as a community, so please help us get the word out to your neighbors and friends who have children and may not have the resources they need. Your child’s education and well-being is very important to us.

Continue to practice social distancing when you have to leave home, and wash your hands frequently.

Be well and be safe.
